Getting the Wheeling Fever

I'm pondering injector work too. I have a core 22re to rebuild, but its a 93, and I have an 87 runner. The plan was to send a set off to RCE for setup. I was told that the "clips" needed to be changed... does anyone know what years the injectors will directly swap without hacking the harness? I really dont' want to hack anything.
