Can you be a little more specific in describing the noise? Bad u-joints can make from None to chirping, squeaking, grinding, thumping etc. I usually feel a bad u-joint before hearing it. Is there any vibration associated with the noise? Can you say if it's coming from the front? The Rear? the middle? The more info you can give the better the chance we have of guessing the cause. It would be nice to know the specifics of the Jeep without having to search old posts.
