A new development...

I have noticed a slight rattle from time to time, and today it got real loud on deceleration. I checked everything in the drivetrain, but I could not find the problem.

When I went out to start the 4Runner this evening, I heard the rattle at cold idle... I think the honeycombs have broken loose inside my cat! Maybe it doesn't like all the full-throttle runs in the last month.

Being in Germany, I am going to make a test pipe to put in place of the cat this weekend... I can't spare the cash for a new cat right now, but I can handle $20 in materials to make the pipe. I'll have to post up next week to see if I got any more out of the engine.
