Do you have an auto or stick? The teras are very worthwile for a stick, maybe less so for an auto.

Based on her username, I will assume a 99. If so, that would mean an auto. For whatever reason the 99s were quirky. No manual tranny, no cruise control, go figure.

Second point, I would disagree. The Teras in my 99 with auto tranny, and swapped 4.77 gears fully gets it. In Moab, I can go down and up Launch Pad without brakes.

Additionally, it definitely improved the compression braking quite substantially.

My 99 Amigo is actually a manual(trying to break the girly steretype )and it is altfitted with an ARB locker in the rear. The guys who are helping me with the install were a little less excited about the job after reading the writeup(Thanks Wareagle!), but they think it is doable. Its the "think" part that makes me hesitate. It really does sound like the Teras do make a BIG difference, but I am afraid of having my rig in pieces for weeks while the guys and I are trying to figure it out. I may just get the winch for now until I can save up for the install and the gears. Hmmmmpfff, decisions, decisions
