lemme take a stab at this... With the crank/cam lined up with it's marks, the dizzy should point to the #4 plug. Here is a pic that shows you the marks to be lined up before you install the dizzy.
*FYI~ as the dizzy gear makes contact with the cam shaft gear the rotor will turn a bit. As long as it doesn't turn before it mates to the cam your gold!
