Getting the Wheeling Fever
Are those little things sufficeint enought to keep water out my diffs if ran through mud/ water. Inoticed I dont have tubes like on a chevy. I have an 89 toyota pickup.

Nice looking truck. You can use the fitting off a Celica intake manifold (PN 90404-51319) as shown in this article .

all 22re's have the same vent on them also. i think its for the pcv valve. im not sure. i usually grab them off motors at the junkyard if i see them.


87 22R PU, 2? body lift, 33? BFG muds, 4.88's, F&R Lock-Rights, Rancho Shocks, EB's Street RV Head w/ 268 Cam, LCE Header, 2" to 2 1/4" exhaust, Flowmaster 50 series, Magnaflow high flow cat, complete Herculined SR5 interior, V6 BB, MC, and calipers.

No, you need to extend them. If you cannot find the barbs listed below you can use a 1/8" NPT brass barb. The threads are almost the same and the brass is soft enough that the steel housing will cut threads. I screw then in first cutting the threads, then pull them back out and wrap the threads with Teflon tape.

so just poppin the caps off the stock ones and putting a hose to the bed wouldnt be sufficeint? Oh And is the vent the same for the IFS 7.5" front differential

you can use the same barb for the front but it will hit your oil pan. but if you have a suspension lift i dont think it will.

So get the nissan vents and run tubes to engine bay will work. Yes i have a sus lift. And the stockers arent an ootion here? Im not trying to be cheap either. Just curious that all, cuz this needs to be done

you dont need nissan ones. it would be easier to just go grab some vents off of a 22re. or you can get them from the dealer. i dont have the p/n right now but im sure someone on here does.

What vents are you talking about man. Is it off the motor, and where are they located so i can grab some? Last 22r i seen was my dads 83 hilux and i was a kid that doesnt know what that was
