Well I recorded some sound with my digi camera but it sounds terrible. I'm not sure how else I can do it. Any suggestions?

if you have some one w/ a hand held Digi-Camcorder that can do a quick record of the exhaust that would work really well. Other then that option, maybe some one w/ a really good video cell phone. My buddies verizon phone has great sound/video recording on it (surprised me!) he recored a couple of 15sec clips and I was shocked as to how good it came it.

I have a Borla on my 4 cyl. Mustang and it's pretty loud but not farty..
I have a Thrush Turbo on my otherwise stock 4runner and it's really quiet.

the Borla XR-1's or Sportsmans? Im kinda looking all over now for a good tone. I found the Nice dual outlet magnaflows on jegs for $90 (Part #642-12251 on Jegs) and Im curious to see how well that sounds.

Sportsman I believe. It was made for the 4runner but the Mustang needed it first.LOL I prefer the quieter Thrush on my truck!! And the Thrush was like $20!!

I found the Nice dual outlet dual outlet, 4 cylinder, gross.
87 22R PU, 2? body lift, 33? BFG muds, 4.88's, F&R Lock-Rights, Rancho Shocks, EB's Street RV Head w/ 268 Cam, LCE Header, 2" to 2 1/4" exhaust, Flowmaster 50 series, Magnaflow high flow cat, complete Herculined SR5 interior, V6 BB, MC, and calipers.

I would have to agree on the duals being a bad idea. I don't think it would sound good at all.

I think it will looks pretty good with some nice Magnaflow slash cut tips, definitley 2.25" or 2.5" Or i've been doing some extensive research into the SRT-4 "Exhaust" system which only consists of 1 Catalytic and 2 resonators...Im pondering whether I could get the sound out of that same setup. But, dodge wont tell me the maker of their resonators and OEM SRT-4 resonators prolly cost an arm and a leg. I beleive Borla did them, but Magnaflow makes resonators too...but I can't find Just the resonators for sale. Usually they supply them with full exhaust kits.
*Sigh* So many options here
