if the springs are worn you'll get bottoming, shocks only help keep tires from leaving the pavement/unless you're using coil overload shocks. if you dont want to replace your springs(which you will have to do eventually) try the coil overload shocks and throw in a set of helper springs. who knows the back might even come up an inch or 2
