I don't know what if any the difference is between the 2wd and the 4wd in the 89. My 93 2wd uses the same hub as a 4wd but the whole hub has to be changed. I just looked it up at partsamerica.com and saw they list bearings for 2wd and hub assemblies for 4wd. ???? press on it some more, if it breaks or bends, a new one can be had for around $68. Maybe it was previously replaced with a unit that isn't supposed to come apart. Good luck! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
