We'll I am officialy an idiot since I said I catch on quick in an earlier post. I went out and rented a timing light so I could check and possibly adjust my timing. Before I did anything, I gave the engine bay a once over so I knew where everything was that I would need to do. I found the test block where I would have to jump the T and E1 connections, but I dont know which ones are T and E1. Are they marked somewhere? I also have no clue how your supposed to rotate the distributor. All I see are the two bolts that hold the cap in place. I thought, maybe I need to loosen the bolts and turn the cap slightly. I tried that but the cap will not move in either direction. I assumed there would be some kind of screw that you would turn in one direction on the cap to adjust timing. And finally, I can see no markings of any kind on the crank pulley or the block that would indicate where 5deg. would be assuming I figured out the rest (granted, at this point I have not hooked up the timing light yet. I saw no need to since I was this lost).

Any more help would be appreciated" <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Thanks........
