Inside the cap that 'unclips' from the diagnotic check connector there is a 'key diagram' to show which hole relates to whicjh connnection. i think the 't' is the center and the 'e1' is in one corner....but the diagnostic box could be rotated so i can't say which corner for sure, but probably if you ar standing facing the engine comptmt with belly against the radiator, the e1 will be the top right of the little grid of 9 electrical connectors. LOOK in a Chiltons or haynes manual under Ignition Timing
