I know that Toyota tells ya to replace them at 30K but thats ridiculous. Those plugs are like $10-$15 a plug. A regular ole plug will go 30K. Well, You want to change YOur tranny fluid no later then 15k miles for the first change (if it's a new truck)

Heck, even 10k miles if You could. Then change again @ 30k, then again at 60k....ect...

I say, once a year, because once You clogg Your tranny filter, You pretty much just killed Your transmission.

I've seen entirly too many people come into the shop, and need a new transmission simply because they didn't change the fluid soon enough.
