A platinum plug should go 100K, but his plugs are NOT platinum! The 3.4 came with "regular ole plugs", although with twin electrodes. The manual says to change non-platinum plugs at 30K and platinum plugs at 100K. And yes IIRC some Toyota cars come with Iridiums or Platinums.
