Well what I had hoped would be a saturday project has turned into a big deal.

4th gear huh. So is having it in 1st gear and in 4 lo to much gear. I figured that the lower you went the better it would hold. Have I been wrong in my thinking. I even had my fiancee sit in the cab and hold the brakes and no luck.

I am going to enlist a larger tank compressor tomorrow and give it a hit with the impact. I have a small one, but it just doesn't have the volume to turn it.

I went to home depot and got:
1st.. some 1/8th inch plate and tried to manufacture a wedge to hold the crank....BENT IT.
2nd.. a piece of 1/8th inch angle iron and manufactured another "heavier duty" wedge.. BENT IT and the 8mm bolts that had it bolted to the crank pulley.

I am hoping with a bigger compressor I will be able to break it loose.

I will keep you all up on the happenings.

Thanks again for all your help
