Getting the Wheeling Fever
this is uncanny. I was under my truck on Sunday changing the diffy fluids and noticed a half inch ring scar around my drive shaft. Hadnt got a chance to check it. But I guarantee you thats the problem. It is real close to the tank. 98 Rodeo

Thanks for all the input. It seems like my theory is panning out to be correct.

I haven't had the time or the resources to lift my truck up and spend some time looking at things in more detail.

When I eventually get around to it, I will be sure to post of the results.
