After looking at the pictures more this morning, I still dont like what I see with that fat hose attached to the top forward nipple on the T-body. Where does the other end of that hose connect? And if it connects at a junction or T....what else is connected there? Here is a picture of a non A/C 22RE that has PS. More examples to follow as soon as I get them uploaded proper.

*these are examples of engines with PS butt no A/C pulled from various online sources. When there isnt A/C then the idle adjust on the side of the plenum isnt used.

My guess is that one of the smaller bypass lines for coolant to feed the auxiallary air valve is connected to the top of the throttle body....creating a crude and overpowerful water injection of his cooling/cold start system.
