Anyone installed a Front Mount Receiver on a 99 F 150 4x4.

I'm installing Drawtite bar to the front of the Ford. The instructions say to take off the valance (plastic trim) this only seems necessary to get into the frame to install the bolts.

I thought it might be easier to just take the whole bumper off 8 bolts as oppose to countless small little hard to get ones.

Any advise?
