So after getting my chain finally fixed right (did it myself) and driving my truck for a week, I decided that the oil leak that I had was too much and that I felt comfortable enough to try to do it again and this time get the gasket between my head and TC cover right. Last time it got bunched up and caused an enormous leak.

I thought I could do it again w / no problems. I should have known...

I got it put back together, pulled the plug wires, turned it over until I got pressure. Now... this took a lot longer than last time.

Once I finally got pressure, I started her up. My wife noticed a "waterfall" of oil coming from the passenger side. I thought it was the oil filter on loose or just bad, so I got a new one and put it on, fired it up. No dice, same problem. Oil just gushing out on Passenger side.

Here's what I did different this time. I used that tacky gasket stuff that is supposed to hold your gasket to your cover when you install it. I noticed some had squeezed out when I torqued everything down .

I also put a bolt in the hole below the DS water pipe that the mechanic before thought was extra parts. The bolt fit in finger tight.

would the sticky gasket stuff have possibly clogged an oil passage, forcing oil out somewhere else? Anybody got a guess as to where it could have comeout? It was just gushing alongside the oil pan on Passenger side... I am really nervous about this.

If i did clog something up, would it bust the block working its way out?

Thanks...
