When I took my oil pump off this time, I did not remove the relief valve as I did before. Last time i did this I lost the spring to it and had to order another one.

No, the oil was "running" along the oil pan area. It was hard to tell where it was coming from. I guess I will have to burn another day tomorrow and tear it down again and pray that I haven't permanantly broken anything.
