Just did some close reading: the thread sizes are different, and the drainback valve psi's and max flow rates are different. But the description of the 51067 refers to the Ranger/Dodge of the 85-87 vintage. Did the 4D55 maybe use two different filters, a small one earlier (51324) and then a bigger one (51067) later on?

So the two are not the same. Guess I need to find a place locally that'll sell the 51067 for a more reasonable price, if there is such a thing?
