...but I probably won't be coming around much anymore.

I should be taking delivery of a brand new '06 Scion xA by the end of the week. Take that, oil companies!

The Trooper's getting passed back into the family and out of my ownership. I'll miss it, but I won't miss the 12 MPG city mileage, or the constant repair work, or... ah crap.

With any luck, maybe I'll get it running right by the end of the week too.

are you making payments on the tropper. I wouldnt see any reason why you couldnt keep both. I though about getting one of those scions. Its only like a 250 a month on the scion at a base model new and you troop may cost you nothing and just throw some collison ins. on it for like 202 for the year and your set.

2002 Honda Passport. 3 inch Indy4x lift with 912 OME's. 265 75 BFG m/t's with a 3 inch body lift, safari rack, tube sliders, tube rear bumper, on-board air

Sorry to hear it, man. Let us know when you swap the scion body on to a sammy frame.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

I've always thought the Scion looked a lot like the Trooper, just with smaller wheels!

ummm.. not THIS one:

but this one is what he intends to replace the Trooper with...

For me, I would get the xA and keep the Troop. Modify the hell out of it... YMMV

About the mud, yes. the money, no.

Not making payments on the Trooper, and I won't be on the Scion either.

My aunt treats me as if I were one of her children (she has none), and she flat out offered to finance and pay for a Scion over the holiday weekend.

My Trooper's been running rather horrible lately, it's getting horrible mileage, and it's extremely expensive to keep filled up. It's the only logical way to go.

Shame I'll have to be sticking to pure asphalt from now on, but oh well. Maybe some day in the future I'll own another 4x4.
