I have a 96 tooper and have had no problems with the SOTF, the manual hubs still work perfect, you have to be carefull not to damage the shifting unit but it is tucked up pretty high so you'll have other problems if you wipe it out. inside there isn't much difference from 95 on I think what makes your search hard is that 5 spd when you find that you'll have to take what ever trooper it comes in.
