The SOHC has the lifter tick sometimes, but it is not harmful, just noisy. I guess I wouldn't limit myself to the DOHC just because of that.



really???? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Has anyone on here attempted this by chance? I searched and couldn't find anything. I'm usually pretty good about finding what I want on it, but i couldn't turn anything up. Any info would be awesome, I might end up doing this cause that darn lifter just annoys the hell out of me <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />. I've had too many vehicles that knock and although I know it's just the lifter ticking, it still pisses me off to no end.
