Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install the ARB Bumper for my 2000 Rodeo but I can't seem to get the stock front bumper off. Can someone please tell me how many Bolts need to come off and the area where they are located? If someone could take pictures of the locations that would be very helpful. I was under the rodeo for over an hour and couldn't get the bumper off. All I took off was the little screws holding the shell. The large bolts won't budge and all and it started to strip the bolt a little so I stop. I don't even know if I was hitting the right ones...PLEASE HELP ASAP. TIA!

P.S. If anyone lives near SAN JOSE, CA and would drop by to lend a hand, I would be very grateful. I'm an unemployed college student, so I can't afford to pay you, But I can buy lunch/dinner and I have beer!

there is two bolts on each side. the bigger ones. They have a square nut on the back side of them. When I took my brothers off the little square nuts broke loose, so I had to use a wrench on them.

That was the one I was trying to get loose, but I had a square nut that looked welded to the frame, so I wasn't sure if that was the right one. I put some WD-40 on it and hope it will be a little easier to get off a a bit. So there are only 4 bolts? If I take off both of those bolts from each side, will the bumper slide right off?

pretty much. You will have to disconnect any fog light wires if you have them.

The toy has 35" ProComp Mud Terrains...We went to 4Wheelparts Truck Fest and my friend ended up buying the whole lift for his truck. Couldn't pass up the deal: 6" Fabtech Lift Kit, Rims, Tires, and Installation for $3800.00 out the door. I wish Rodeos could have a 6" suspension lift...
