Hey no problem, glad I could help. I've been building a bumper for my brothers amigo.
You can get 5" lift from your rodeo, and it doen't look as goofy with all of the front end hanging down.

does that ARB bumper allow you to run a winch down the road? if so, will you have to remove the bumper to install the winch?

Yes, it does have space for the Winch already cut out, and you would have to remove the bumper for the install, but its only 6 bolts that hold the bumper onto the brackets. Not a big deal, as long as I had the money to get a winch, I wouldn't worry about installing it.

It will be a while before I ever get a winch, Next on my "TO DO" list are front and rear ARB air lockers. I think that will help me more than winches, which you will probably use to pull other people out of trouble than using it for yourself.

Ugh crank up your t-bars,it's that simple. You can get 6"
of lift out of the front and get it align'd.
Only problem I've seen is the tie-rods will wear out in about 40k miles.

cv angles look good better than a 1st gen with 1" of lift and ball joint angle is basically neutral.

Do not install front shocks with more travel that factory, you will kill your rack/pinion.

...And no matter what æThe BookÆ says, I can personally attest to the fact that swapping out a Rack and Pinion on a 2nd Gen Rodeo is a major PITA, and takes-up the better part of a weekend... and that's with 2 (sometimes 3 or 4) people working on it, in a very well-equipped shop!

Bansil, this sounds scary... majority of 2 gen Rodeo owners use Ranchos 99136 upfront that have about 1.5" more downtravel than stock shocks. Matt also sells them as Rodeo/Amigo application. Do you mean that this is really a wrong application ?

Does this also mean that we must absolutely NOT to flip the BJs ?

The do not install longer shocks is totally my opinion only.
The stock shocks hold the lower control arm "up" 3/4" at the mounting point. Thus the shock acts as a limit strap for droop.

I have seen it happen, also why use a longer shock???????in a fixed location like the front of our ifs if you add a longer shock-------->say 3" longer like alot of folks do because they have a 3" lift................then guess what??????----------->you just lost 3" of up travel.

The front suspension on 2nd gens(an others) has droop and compression stops. The range of motion is ~9" so if shock length is changed to say a 3" longer shock, the suspension will still only operate in the stock range of motion. So it will droop almost the same~~3/4"more til the upper control arm bends the upper stop bracket and then binds the rack if the drooped tire is turned hard to the inside.
but you will loose 3" of up travel because the shock will bottom it self internally before the lower bump stop comes into play.

Yes you can flip the upper balljoint,I only recommend it for use with stock lenght shocks,my opinion and .02.
Flipping allows~3/8 more droop but several degrees of camber fix,I was able to get more than 1" more alignable crank out of it.

I thought the same thing, since the instructions call for you mounting the winch and then installing the bull bar with he winch installed.

When I mounted my winch, I squeezed the winch in from the bottom and held it up while I attached the two top bolts. It was a one-man operation so there was some struggling to do. But it saved me the hassle of removing the bumper and having to lift the bumper and the winch together. That winch is heavy!

Of course it was a trooper, so I donÆt know how much space you have on the rodeos.

You are correct on the lockers, they will help you out more then a winch. But a winch will get you out of trouble when those lockers make you take the harder lines
