I was researching this for a friend and discovered in a round about way that Novak makes a 21 spline input shaft for the Dana 300 so it may be used with an AX-5, then I verified it by e-mail. Their part# is #AS300-21 and the price as of yesterday is $212. Just thought someone else might like to know. Especially if, like my friend, you can get a fantastic deal on a MPI 2.5 with transmission and want to swap it into your CJ (His are both badly worn out).
