Finally got the new wheels and tires installed tonight! Man what a difference. Much better stance and the ride is better too! But had just a tad bit of rubbing on the lower mudguard. But nothing a hammer and trim knife couldn't fix!

No rub now! Next week my springs are going on (if they come in on time). PP-set of four, 1" lift. All I need. Then it's under to check the panhard alignment and mount up Steve's drop-club goodies!! After that, it's winch bumper time and top basket with tire/jack mount, etc, etc, etc.

Anyway, let me know what you think!

Sorry for the dark night pics but better ones tomorrow after I clean her up and throw some polish on them new wheels.

It's finally getting there!

EDIT: Oooooops ... Forgot to update my Sig!

Thanks guys! I had a lot of great comments on those wheels/tires even before I put them on the rig. After they were installed, I had people walk out when I went somewhere and asked what I was running. Said they liked the look! I'm very pleased with the way it rides and handles. I can tell a tad bit of drop in the performance due to my gearing but nothing the SC can't make up for (and a new set of gears ).

My springs actually came in yesterday afternoon, so if mother nature will quit raining buckets outside I can get those things on and see about the rest of the goodies I have planned.

The backspacing is factory according to MT Rep I spoke with. I believe it was somewhere around 3 3/4" on the backspacing. I could not get any of the distributors I checked with to tell me the right one to fit the 4Runner so I called Mickey Thompson direct. The sales rep said there is only one part number of the MT Classic II that fits the 4Runner.

They fit like a glove and look/ride great! I just wish the rain would stop so I can install the new PP 1" lift springs that are sitting here in the box. Now they are calling for ice storms the next day or two so I can kiss this weekend goodbye for the spring install for sure. Maybe next weekend.
