All there employees are Mexicans that don't know there ass from a hole in the ground

Hey now! Let's not get racially derogatory. Moderators might frown upon such a thing.

P.S. In this case, the appropriate spelling would be their. I'm sure most Mexicans know that.

Why don't you leave the Moderation for the guys with the green names

I wish I could be as cool as you to have nothing better then to pick out spelling errors on a BB

I mess up the whole there, thier, theyre thing too. But back to the point. I always wondered about those low mile Japan. motors. My cousin put one in his CRX and had good luck with it. However I always thought; "If I bought a car in Japan, that I was only allowed to drive for 300000 miles. I dont think I would prioritize maintence. I would imagine its a crap-shoot. I did buy a Japanese truck, a little for that reason though. Worst case scenario $1200 for a Japan. motor. As apposed to the worst case domestic scenario. Quick note. The Honda engine for the CRX was bought from Rising Sun.

There are several companies that sell JDM motors, you just need to get one that stands behind them. I got one for my honda from www.jdmexchange.com because it was fairly local (philadelphia) They knocked $100 off to help me out and shipped it overnight.

The only problems I've had with my JDM engine which I'm paying for now, is the fact that the engine was dropped on the front side of it, probably in shipment from japan, which damaged a balance shaft pulley, cover and internal gear. And now my flexplate just broke the center right right out, which leads me to beleive that the flexplate came cracked from them (I should have used my old one anyway)

Long story short.. Not much wrong with JDM but I'd only rely on them for the long block and not all the accessories and junk attached. Many times they just PILE them into a crate and ship them over from Japan, very likely to get damaged in shipment.

Who knows, maybe Rising sun is better? I just didn't want to pay shipping from California.
