I put on these new fog lights on my 89 Xj with the old fog light connecter and they work fine but only if i have the head lights on!!!! I was wondering if you can bypass this so i can just turn them on with the head lights off?

you can run new wires to the fog lights and use a toggle switch, but i want to ask why do you want to.if you have your foglights on you should be using your regular head lights also.the only reasons i can think of to bypass it is if you dont need to use the foglights.also check if they turn off when you hit the high beams.if not something is wired wrong and it should be rewired.
out of all the jeeps in this town the d**n gremlin had to invade mine
I've done so much, with so little for so long i can practicly do anything with nothing

I don't think you can easily get around it. I would just run a toggle switch to the dash...
