Need a Spot

I'm not sure on when DRL's started. I have a '97 and it doesn't have them. My Dad's '00 had DRL's.
Sidenote: to disengage/disable them there is a small metal box on the drivers fender pretty close to the battery, and if the wires are unplugged the DRL's should be disabled.
