Thanks Bighead, I used the TSB about the DRL's and it worked. However, now the Hi beam light comes on when the lights are not in use.

When the lights are on Lo the Hi beam light turns off and when the Hi beams are on the Hi beam light comes on.

Anybody know how to get the Hi beam light to not be on while the lights are off?

Hey Bnha i got those 1100x's in and love them. Ive got some pics but not had the time to put them up on my site yet. thanks again

Hello. I just found this forum and just joined. I have a '96 4Runner with DRL. I'm from Canada tho, and our vehicles have had them for a number of years. I had a '91 Corolla that had them.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey Mod Man,

I just joined this forum and I have the same question as you. I disconnected the DRLs on my '01 according to the TSB, and now my Hi-beam indicator comes on (sometimes- not all the time) when the headlights are turned off. Sometimes it blinks.

Did you ever get an answer? Thanks.

Yes, the high beam light is now on most of the time for me as well. And no, nobody ever contacted me about a solution to the problem. I learned to live with it.

Yes, it does it on my 2000 also. BUT, as soon as you put it in gear/drive they come on.

OK. Thanks Mod Man. I'm not gonna worry about it.
