The more I think about the possibility of swapping a gear-driven transfer case (with Tera Lows in it) into my 2004, the more I like it. A couple of questions (keeping in mind that I know next to nothing about transfer cases):

Assuming (and it may be a big assumption) that a gear driven case is a direct bolt up, what else needs to be done?

Are there any electronics involved?

What about the length of drive shafts?

Since this has never been done before (at least for a 2004 Rodeo), I don't expect any definitive answers, but I'd like to keep this dialogue moving and hopefully get an idea of how complicated (and expensive) of a project this could become.

Thanks!
