ummm, the tranny is too low <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cyclops.gif" alt="" />

It would be better if the spring hanger cross brace made contact with the frame cross member all the way across, that way you could weld them together.

uh... that hanger doesnt contact because of the way the frame is. its just like that. you just fill the gap with weld. Dont post when u dont know what ur talken about.

Dude, no reason to have an attitude, this isn't Pirate. That gap looks like it's a good 5/8" thats more than I have ever seen on a front hanger. Maybe it's just the way the pics is.

I don't think it's 5/8th, but it looks normal. What we did was fill the gap with pieces of scrap metal then weld to make contact. And by the way, I agree, this isn't "that other board". We're all usually pretty friendly and patient...as long as it's not a Presidental election year. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

it just seems when moving the axle 2" forward it pitched my 3rd member down a lil bit

Thats why many who put rears up front also drop the front spring hangers, more lift and a better pinion angle.

Totally normal. The springs have the pin slightly forward of your stockers, which means they mount the axle to a different spot on the arc.

pinon angle is hard to see in that picture. if it is to much you may want to get 4 crawlers degree shims or drop that front cross member.. or it will not steer right.
what springs are you running?
