4 crawler sell them, not sure of the different degrees that he sells.
with the different lifts that I have had. the pinion has been to high and to low. steering was worse with it to low, vs to high.
felt like when turning the tires were leaning side to side vs turning flat on the ground. really felt weird.

When you use shims you will start changing your caster and you will steer funny. Since your using 6" springs you prolly should think about using a high pinion thirdmember. I have drivline problems with 4" springs and a regular 4cyl third.

Only if you use shims that take the caster angle beyond factory specs for caster angle:

As noted, on the front axle, shimming to restore proper caster angle is fine, and if that improves the pinion angle, great. You are correct that you don't want to correct the pinion angle solely by shims as that can and will impact the caster angle and if you drive on the street, that is not a good thing.
