Need a Spot

OK here's what i got i got a Sammy body an frame really cheap Ive got a d25for the front an a d44 for the rear both with 5.88 gears what i need to no is can i make a jeep 258 i6 fit into a Sammy i was wanting to use the motor an tranny an t case the axles are out of a 54 cj3b an the motor tranny an t case is out of a 79 cj5 I'm going to stretch the frame also thx for the help

I imagine you will end up doing a body-off frame re-engineer to get it all to fit. But I don't have any experiance with those particular parts. Sorry I can't be more help.

you can make anything work but the 258 is a pretty long engine the only way i see you doing it is streching it in the front and rear tube clip the front and a flat bed in the rear and then the tranny hump will have to be cut all to hell. i suggest getting a 1.6 16v efi and keep the tranny and put a lower gear set in the sammy t-case then do a jeep eater yj spring conversion with your axles but if you just want to build a little off road toy out of the stuff you already have laying around then fab fab fab but i think with the engine tranny and t- case you have you will end up with a rear driveshaft around 6"long
if it don't fit, force it if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway

dont forget to take and post plenty of pics and post them so we can see the progress and watch the lil zuk grow
if it don't fit, force it if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway

will do i just found out how much the Sammy is going to cost me hahaha its free so ill have just labor an maby a few smaller parts to buy so its going to be really cheap for me to do
