I am not questioning either of you answers, just don't know myself, but right now with my pinion being at 0 degrees, shouldn't I be able to shim it at least to where it was (stock)without affecting the caster too much?
The reason the angle is off is because the spring perch on the axle is no longer mounted on the most bottom (arch) part of the spring. Wouldn't putting a shim in just make it so the actual mounting point is more level? It's a little hard to explain, but I have this vision in my head.
Another way to put it may be that, right now, isn't the degree of caster off in the oposite way of where it needs to be?
I am at work right now, otherwise I would measure the caster angle.
