As far as I've ever seen or read, the only place you'd use lithium grease is on your steering knuckles. The only lithium grease I've seen is white and apparently it does better in severe temp conditions than moly. But I use moly everywhere, all around, including the steering knuckles. I've had no (knock on wood) problems.
