Is that a freeze plug you used to plug the hole where the pully shaft was? I'm thinking of cutting my fan bracket as well.

Thanks.....

The Black Magic fans come with their own hardmount thermostat, you just adjust it to come on at X temp. Unlike most after markets that you attatch to the rad with wire, the black magic mounst to the front supports, using the lower rad. bolts.

I never noticed any fuel gains but the power and noise seems a bit better then before. Had it now for at least 5 years and never a failure. It was my daily driver until 2 years ago. I installed 2 switches, 1 for on, 1 for off. It seems that in the real hot summer, the AC works much better when the condensor gets some cool air right away. I also installed a LED so I know when the fan runs and when it's switched off.
could you post some pics of your set up? I am looking for little gains in power and gas milage for a 22re thanks
