'cause if your crankshaft position sensor wire is too close, it could melt & ground the wire against the metal & cause the engine to shut down (no spark) & to never be started again until you've wasted another $100 on a new cam sensor because you've already replaced the crank sensor thinking that it could never be that one, all the while trying to remove the cam sensor, breaking one of the mounting ears off & needlessly replacing it because there was no spark after borrowing a buddy's multimeter & testing the coils, still not finding spark & ultimately checking all wires that lead to these sensors & fuses & stuff finding the meltdown, finally thanking God that we didn't throw out the old crank sensor & replacing the melted unit with the old one and carefully tying the wire back away from the manifold...*breathes*
