I see it now, too. False alarm. Maybe Symantec (my work access) has started to filter that URL?

The transition will occur Wednesday evening some time (exact time TBD). We will incur up to 2 hours of downtime / site unavailability.

Once I have the exact time, I will make a general announcement.

When we come back online, everything will be shiny, new, and fixed.

Looking forward to the final result. Thanks for the work in getting this taken care of Joe. As a crash job, I don't think anyone's really going to begrudge a day or two for unforseen reality!

Porn porn porn....

Yup, just got a flood of porn popups. First time, so far. But, it was via IE and on the school's computer.

I don't know if this is something more malicious, but, just lettin' ya know.

Just wondering, were you at this site in particular when you "noticed" the link.

Sadly, yes. Surfing porn from the university computer lab would be...um, very very bad.

It was a pretty good redirect and takeover, with popups. I even lost my original window and had to close everything down. Very impressive, only because since pop-up blockers, I haven't seen that kind of crap in years.

I've made a bunch of nifty new entries in my drivers\etc\hosts file...

and a prompt to "press the spacebar to use this new control". Careful with that axe... UMMM, spacebar, Eugene...

I think I'll be staying away from this site for a while...

Ok, the server transition has been moved back to Thursday due to illness with our consultant.
