After a bit of confusion, we found the jack kit to be stowed under the rear pax seat, but can't get the darned cushions up; there a trick? We fooled with it quite a bit, and couldn't get the buggers up.
Some times you need to push the back of seat cushion down a little and pull the loop forward and up to keep the plastic from hanging on the seatback. I have to do this on that side because I squeezed a 30'x2" strap in with the jack.

My other two q's would be if the FWD is ADD/autohubs up front, and if it's ABS. I did a full panic stop from 60mph, and it was solid, but without the feedback thru the pedal like what I've experienced with other ABS systems.
Yes ADD, No autohubs. Hubs are always "locked." If you have ABS and get it to activate on a 4Runner, you will definetly notice it cause it makes quite a racket. Maybe have the dealer punch in the VIN to see if it has ABS or IIRC the ABS is (on my 3.4) in front of the firewall on the passenger side (block with lots-o-brake lines).

That means I get the joy of finding out if stuff like the timing belt and fuel filter, etc has been swapped or not.
Still has a timing chain on the 2.7, so no belt to mess with.

The 3rd gen Runners are definitely a step up in comfort.
