Getting the Wheeling Fever

I had the codes pulled and it is a P0770 shift solenoid e malfunction. Did some searching and this seems to be related to the torque converter lockup. It registered twice. At one point when I drove it this morning I thought it seemed like it wasn't locked up but it was very hard to tell. Does anybody know what solenoid this is and if it can be accessed without dropping the tranny?
