***EDIT - It was an FJ80 TRE ***

According to Marlin's site, torque specs are 80-100lbs. I had my wrench set to 85, and it just kept turning. Finally stripped the nut.

I had anti-sieze on the threads, which I'm now thinking was a mistake. The nut turned down far enough that the cotter pin holes were completely above the castle nut.

I never thought I'd ask something so simple, but can someone tell me the *right* way to do this? I clearly haven't figured it out.
