Wondering if anyone has installed (or had installed)a power rear sliding window in an 05/06 Tacoma? Thinking of looking into it for my wifes 05.
Thanks, Ed.

I want one too. Not lazy - just impossible for the driver to open when you have a DC. Toyota flaked on that option and by not providing MP3 input with the "Premium" stereo.

Yes...the fact that the stereo does not play mp3 cd's is ridiculious. And as far as LAZY??? Ever reach up and open the sunroof after you've already started driving...easy isn't it. Try doing that with the rear slider...you don't always realize you would want it open until you're heading down the road.

Just joking, I can imagine it is convenient. I can deal with the slider with my xtra cab though.

I probably wouldn't even bother except that it's for my wife's truck.

JohnJerk...I found a site that sells power rear sliders for pretty much all year Tacomas. Now forking over the $500 is another story.

Wow that's too much for me. You could get a sunroof installed for less than that I would imagine. Do you have a link?

oops...I meant to include the link. We had a power sunroof installed in my wifes truck at the dealer before we took it home...that was around $800-$900 (can't remember exactly). Here is the link for the rear slider (correction...it's $449 for the 05+ ) REAR SLIDER
