Yeah, I should have stated that I already had the oil pump off the timing cover. After beating and prying and cussing my head off, I finally took the thing to a machine shop. The guy was like "oh yeah, those are real easy to pop out. Here, I'll do it for you." A few minutes later is was more like: "Umm... maybe you should buy a new oil pump." That seal was NOT going to come out. You can see below how badly it got mangled in the attempts <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

But yeah. Got the timing chain replacement all finished this evening. Truck runs like a top! And no leaks yet, so far as I can tell! Things would definitely not have gone as smoothly without all the help from everyone on here. Thanks! And thanks for the super kit EB. And same to 4crawler for the awesome write up.
