Your going to have a problem using the 89-95 evap on your truck and there may be something odd about mounting the drier but everything else should work. I went the other way round and if I still had the '87 evap that I couldn't use in my truck it would already be yours.

You ought to at least check the price at a Toyota dealer...

The expensive parts like starters, alternators, A/C compressors are available as remanufacturered parts through the dealer and with a Toyota warranty..

I've always found the prices pretty reasonable on Toyota remanufactured parts, much less than a new factory Toyota replacement part.

I've not sure if the same suppliers or reman parts are available through all Toyota dealers in the US since the US is broken up into different distributor regions/dealership..

I'm speaking of a dealer in the SouthEast Toyota distributor region above..
wow, I didn't you know you could buy remanned Toyota stuff from the dealer.

Definitely check ebay, I just picked up a remanned compressor for $120. AC Kits.com is also great, I've ordered from them in the past and will be again this time around. Also, check out their forum, very helpful if you've got any questions!

Thanks for the info Kona! I need to get as much information as I can prior to doing this. I think CJM's deal would be best as it's an almost complete system and about the cost of just the compressor down here. This way, I could also replace the worn out parts with the majority of stuff in his kit! If the dryer is from the kit why wouldn't it be good to use with the kit itself?
