For an Auto Disconnect, simply add a new seal to the diff side of the long axle tube. Don't need to worry about hooking up any lines or anything. To make it easy, put your existing diff cover on the one you get delivered. For more info on the seal, someone here can point you to it. (write-up)

PS, what shipping quotes did you get.

You are gonna love the 4.88's (with your 33" tires!) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

OK, couldn't help myself <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
Here's some finds for the rear man. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

(For some reason I thjought I'd posted this already, must be losing it...)
Sorry for the temp hijack - I think I must be retarded - but for some reason when I run this on Car-part.com myself, I am not getting much in the way of a 4.88 option.
What are you guys using as the search options? When I select, say, '88 $runner, "Carrier", 4.88 isn't listed, just the basic ones (4.3 and 4.1)? Again, sorry for the steer but it's kinda related...

You need to select a '93 to '95 runner. That's the only time they offered the 4.88 from the factory.
Or was it '92 as well?
Can't remember.
