Yes and no. I haven't done a ifs diff, but by way of example, doing the rear on mine took about 2 hours. You have to pull the axles...which means un-doing the brake lines. THAT's the biggest PITA of the deal...but yes, once you get the axles out ( about 4-5 inches) the other one comes out and your new one bolts in. Voila....
