My '86 straight-up carb/5-spd and stock 4.10 running gear I can get around 23 mpg piddlin' around 60 mpg. Drops to about 19 in the winter with the extra idling time (about 15-20 minutes past -25F)

Will be picking up a 99 Runner with 2.7/5spd; supposedly gets 20/23 mpg, so we'll find out; got a road trip coming up to go chase fish! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Haven't checked the axle code yet, but it's sitting on stock tires at the moment.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
