I have an 89 reg cab pickup 22re manual. Engine only has a few thousand miles on a Jasper. 31" Michelin MS/LTXs, 4.56s, Everything else stock.

I have always gotten 24 mpg pure highway down to 20/21 mpg in stop-and-go driving with a lot of idling in traffic (which i hate having to drive in). The worst I ever got was 17.5 towing a 5x8' Uhaul trailer on flat interstate. Best I ever got was a one-time 27mpg going about 55 pure highway a few years back.
